Tran Am Painted Trim

I just had my car painted bright white. I need to re-finish the front and back window trim and the headlight trim. Should I paint or have it powder coated?

Also what is the correct color or gloss for the trim, I think I would like it a little glossier than factory. Any one with good photos???

trim paint

I bought some called "black satin automotive trim coating", (made by mar-hyde) stuff is nice semi gloss. One piece of advice ,you have to remove all the old paint because it has some strong stuff in it that will lift the old paint , and you will have to start all over. I learn the hard way . no short cuts.

My two cents
