WTT: 69 GTO Judge for 05 or 06 GTO

Fellow Forum Members,

I'm thinking of trading my CR Judge hardtop for a 05 or 06 GTO. The Judge is a completed car and will need restoration. It will need a trunk floor and the tail light panal (which I have). Engine is not the original.

Now for the good stuff.

4 Speed with console
AM Radio
Deluxe Seat Belts
Power Steering and Disc Brakes
Softray Glass
Saf-T-Track Rear
Remote Drivers Mirror
Hood Tach
Ralley Sport Steering Wheel
Ralley Gauges & Clock
Ralley II rims
Built 4th week of Jan. 69
Shipped to Arnold Pontiac in Chicago

Interior is black and in good condition. The car sat for years and last registered in 1990. Would make a great father/son project. All glass is good and I have a copy of the original build sheet.
I own 4 GTO's and was going to restore this one since it wouldn't be too hard, but time is the problem.

Basically I'm looking for a 05 or 06 with manual transmission. Please PM me if you have any interest or to look it over by appointment. Pictures are available in the Parts Wanted section.

Not sure you'll get much traction here. The few who dared buy a LSx GTO here probably already own a classic GTO. The rest have nothing but disdain for the LSx GTO and will call you obscene names for wanting or owning one. But I, like most of the New GTO owners love them and have no desire to get rid of them. Factor in the latest Barrett/Jackson auction and suddenly, the desire to own old Pontiacs drastically subsides. I own my '71 Lemans sport and '72 GTO simply because I fell in love with them back in 1976, not because of potential collector car windfalls.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but there's no way I'd trade either my '04 or my '06 for a car needing 10 to 20k worth of resto. I'm basically saying that, your request is reasonable, but I highly doubt you'll find it here. You'll come out much better selling your Judge outright, then buying a late GTO.
