IAII Blocks ???

Does anybody know what is going on with IAII blocks ? Are they that far behind that its taking FOREVER to get them ? I've been waiting for awhile now, and keep hearing " Next week or two..next week or two". Are they that much in demand ? Sorry...just venting...grrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered mine on Thursday and got it on Friday. This was about a month ago.I think they make about 10 at a time in different configurations and I got lucky. The last one he had in stock was just what I needed.4.35 bore,55mm cam tunnel lifter bores sleeved.

Dave at SD Performance is putting this motor together for us. I've been dealing with his bull-sh*t for a few years now...lol. For some unknown reason, everytime I get off the phone with him, I have the urge to shove a sharp pencil in my eye...lol. Seriously tho, I've dealt with all the "pontiac wizards" over the years, and he has by far built the most horsepower for us. Great guy to deal with...and takes good care of his customers. I'm not interested in having anybody else touch my motor.
Anyways...I back-halved the car myself. I'm a tool & die welder in the skilled trades at General Motors. It came out pretty good (maybe I got lucky). I had it certified two years ago by the head tech guy from IHRA. He said it was a nice job. Believe it or not, he came right to my house to do it. Those people who are running the IHRA lately really are top-notch.

Talked to Frank today at ALLPONTIAC. Everything is square. Nice guy to talk to. He is not the cause of this setback. Said he'd make it right as soon as he could. Thanks Frank and Bob.

What bore size did you want?? I have a new 4.305" bore block still in the wrapping plastic.
