455 formula

I know that there were 503, 455 formulas built in 1973 with turbo 400s. I feel lucky to have one [ Iwish my wife did ] of them. I was just wondering how many could still be around and how many other members might have one in their garage? 1 and counting.

503 total built. 227 of those were 4spds. My question is how many of those had factory ram air? Yes, we are both lucky to have 'em. even though they're D ports. That makes 2 and counting.

From what i've read, there were 730 made, 503 Auto, 227 4 Speed.
I have one of the 4 Speed Cars, so that makes 3, but mine is not
Ram Air.

I stand corrected on total built. still quite rare though. Hey dadsformula, what color is yours?

dadsformula 04-15-2008 04:04 PM

Mine is Admiralty Blue with Custom Dark Saddle interior. M21 with lots of
options, but no Air, and no Ram Air. Truth be told, it's now about 4 differant
colors of primer, but a nice solid Car if i ever get it finished. These Cars
are rare for sure, as are all year 455 Formula's. Just always been one of my
favorites, so i had to jump on it when it came for sale. Just something about
that combination of Hood with the 455 emblems. Don't get me wrong i like
Trans-ams just fine, but for me the early formula's have a mean look about them
especially when they have the right stance
