69 Firebird with chevy 350
I have a 69 Firebird that I am putting a chevy 350 motor in it built by a company called TandL engines , it is going to be a 408 stroker, When I bought the car it allready had a chevy motor in it, any body know of any problems with fitting applications such as headers I am going with hedman ceramic coated long style, and chrome deep oil pan and 700 r4 transmission, My car does not have ac or power steering just manual steering

Check and see, but the Chevy small block 400 looks nearly identical to a 350. Bored 0.040 over gets you 408.7 cubic inches and you can use any parts that fit a 67-69 Camaro basically as a direct swap.

The 305, 350 and 400 blocks are the same. On the outside. Inside however they are different. 305-350 same crank different bore. the 350 is bigger. the 400 has a longer stroke bigger bore and more clearance in the bottom end to accommodate the crank. the flywheel on the 400 is also a balance plate.
