speedometer lug
I put a Richmond 6-speed in my 1977 Trans Am (455 HO) but it didn't come with a lug for the speedometer cable. Where can I get one and how do I know which one to get? Thanks, Jeff.

"Speedometer Lug"
Could you please define "...speedometer lug" for me...?
My stock 4-speed transmission has a screw-in attachment on the passemger's side, near the back, in which the end of the speedo cable threads onto: inside the tranny itself is a nylon gear with an extension that has a small square hole, where the end of the speedo cable nests itself. I've never heard of the expession "lug" used before on this, but if that's what's missing from your after-market tranny, I wouldn't have a clue how'd you might "retrofit" something like that (is your tranny of the newer "fly-by-wire" type, that doesn't even use such mechanical gizmos...?).
