Doesn'T have a cover? But you listed a partial part number? Could you expand on your answer a bit? Thanks, Brian |

info
the 64 gto bell housing was a single year usage part, there was no inspection cover on this design... the aluminum ran constant from one side to the other.
the part number of the bell housing ends in 3320... there is one on ebay in the buy it now section if you want to see pictures.... i have one for sale too, but its packed away! heres a link to pictures of the correct 64 bell http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...7;2A%2A%2A3320 tks sam |
The 64 bellhousing does have 2 bolt holes (1/4") on the lower section where a cover or plate would bolt to it running parallel to the flywheel. The 64 bellhousing I have is missing that cover but it shouldn't be to hard to fabricate one.
If you need a bellhousing I have one available also. |

I have the correct 64 Bellhousing. I'm looking for an original cover. The 1965 cover can be modified to fit the 64 Bellhousing by cutting off the lower horizontal portion of it and using only the vertical part to bolt to the front side of the bellhousing were the flywheel is exposed. Thanks, Brian |
so
you are looking for the flywheel cover not the inspection plate?
i would think you could modify any of them to work pretty easily... tks sam |
It took a while, but I was able to snag one on eBay. Seems like as soon as I found mine, there was one on there every week. They seem to go for $75-100.

Brian, see ebay 220327801420.

Bob, that one on ebay seems to be missing an ear. My original 64 has an ear that goes over the starter, but the ear has a large hole in it that the starter fits into.
