Dales restoration parts
 

Hey all, Just wondering if there is anyone out there from Wisconsin and is familiar with Dales restoration parts. A while back i sent him money for a floor shift steering column for my 66 GTO and have yet to recieve it. Recieved a few other parts but have had no luck contacting him in a few months and was looking for help. Thanks if you can and sorry if you cant. I guess a little intimidation goes a long way. Got a call today from my son saying it showed up in the mail. Cant wait to get home from South Dakota to start working on it. Too cold here and not a big fan of -10 degrees and snow. Thanks for all the views

Guy ripped me off completely. Sent a money order and never recieved my part...says he never got it tired to make it look like I was the bad guy, bad attitude and erogant...anyway I got the copy of the money order from USPS and it showed it was deposited and cashed by him...he denies it all...wont answer emails etc...so I am now going thru the Better Buisness BUrea. If you want to turn him in get ahold of Better Buisness Bureau of Wisconsin and make him Pay! They will get down to buisness with him. If you need to find out how email me. You wouldnt believe how many people he has ripped off...I have lots of emails...this guy needs to go down or have a complete rebirth with God...he is not a good person! I dont know how he lives with himself honestly.

YES HE RIPPED ME OFF FOR $1200 ABOUT 4 YEARS AGO FOR 1969 GTO REAR 1/4,S. SENT HIM A CHECK , CASHED IT, I KEPT CALLING AND CALLING. HE SENT ME A LOWER RAM AIR PAN (REPOP) THAN I JUST GAVE UP AFTER A YEAR OR TWO, YES HE IS A JERK TO PUT IT LIGHTLY!AND YES THERE ARE A LOT MORE PEOPLE THAT GOT RIPPED OFF, THANKS

Dale has pissed off Pontiac people for at least 10 years that I know of. There have been negative threads regarding his business practices on both Performance Years and Classical Pontiac. Some have made threats but nothing has happened and he continues to slide by. Good luck!

I tried to buy some parts from him a while back. He had some heads, block and a few other parts, but he never would ship them to me, or tell me the prices. He wanted to deliver them and make a deal. I told him where I lived and he would always tell me he'll be coming done next week. This went on for 6 to 8 months. I finally got him to tell me the prices and most of them were ridiculous. He seemed to get mad at me saying he had been holding the parts for me. He was alway bithching about how people were screwing him out of parts and he always got cheated out of money. I had found a couple of gto bodies he wanted and several other parts, He was supposed to give me a finders fee and make me a "good" deal on the parts. I had some different heads and several other parts that were as valuable as his, he was going to do some trading, but he started acting like I was dumb and tried to tell me what my parts were worth. I think he thought he was going to come down and rip me off good on my parts.

I never sent him any money and by the sound of what he did to you, I'm glad that I didn't. He tried to email me several times about a month after I stopped asking him about the parts, but I just ignored them. And he even put some of the parts on the craigslist in my area. I am probably a thousand miles away from Wisconsin too. I just marked his emails as junk and never wasted my time with them, He had my phone number and never tried to call me. I would have gladly told him what I thought of him and the way he conducted his business. I would never waste my time again on a stupid person like him. I found the parts I was looking for at a better price too, I just wish I hadn't wasted my time waiting on him. I have found that a lot of these people that are dealers of this kind of stuff are crooks. There are several dealers in the area that I live in that are the same way. I think they ruin the car hobby for people that like to rebuild these cars for fun.

That's my story on him, it's not as bad as yours though. Sorry to hear that he stole your money, I hope you can get it back. Let me know if anyone else had a bad experience with him also. Joe Stuckey

Hey, I saw your post on craigslist about Dale Spencer. A couple months, just before memorial weekend, I was on cragislist looking for pontiac parts. I saw his post and emailed him about it, he said he had what I was looking for and he would send an invoice on it. I payed him via paypal. Weeks and weeks later I still had no parts but he had my money. Eventually by going thourgh the pay pal website they were able to get my money back. I had tried to keep emailing him the whole time and never received any response. I believe he told me his name was Dale and the email he gave me was [email protected]. Let me know if we may be talking about the same person. I would LOVE to do anything I can to help as I believe he shouldnt be able to advertise parts like this and rip people off. Tim

Dale Spencer is well known as one of the biggest scam artists/ripoff guys in the car hobby. It is unfortunate, but he unfairly gives a lot of the good legitimate guys a bad rap just because they are in the same business. Pass it around, maybe we can run this guy out eventually. I would report is to the police and post your experiences on other sites. Hope this helps...sorry for your misfortune of dealing with him.
