2009 PY Pontiacs in the Park Racer's Contest

Hello everyone

We have a new contest for all of you racers who plan on going to the 2009 PY Pontiacs in the Park this year. For this year's PYPITP (May 29-31st), Performance Years would like to sponsor 2 racers for this event. So if you're planning on racing at PYPITP this year and you'd like to upgrade your experience from "coach" to "First Class", here's what you have to do:

1) Look at the 2 similar pictures below. You need to compare the two pictures and find the 8 things that are different in the second picture.

http://pysales.com/image-find-2009a.jpg

2) Send an email to [email protected] with:
a. the 8 changes you found in the above pictures
b. Your name and PY Forums Username
c. a brief description of the Pontiac you plan to race

From the entries who find all 8 changes in the pictures, we will randomly select 2 member to be the Official Performance Years Sponsored Racers for the 2009 PY Pontiacs in the Park event.

Those 2 chosen racers will get the following:

* A prime spot at the front of the pits.
* Free 3 day racer/car entry pass
* $100 cash for necessities such as fuel, food, etc.

Fine print:
Member who enter must intend on racing at this event. If you will not be racing, please do not enter.
We will be choosing 2 alternates just in case one or both of the winning racers is not able to attend or race.

Break out your magnifying glass to scan the pictures and submit your entry for a chance to make this great event, even better.

Best of Luck to everyone!!

Steve made it too easy! I got them all in less than a minute, but I'm not a racer, and don't think I'll make it too PITA this year :( Just can't afford all the events this year. Wish the car show attendance would be bigger too at PITP. Good luck to who ever wins the contest.

Cut down on the local multi-make car shows and support the Pontiac shows and their sponsors that support your hobby. We've got the beginnings of what could become a "Norwalk East" at VMP and people are still whining.;)

It's probably that time again Brian...:gag:

PITP works out better strategically for me this year. And since it is a PY event. I figure it will be the better event to attend and support.
It doesn't look like I will have the car ready in time for Pontiac Heaven again this year.
I might make Norwalk next year.

We've got 18 entries so far. If you haven't heard from me that you didn't get the picture differences right, then your entry was accepted (NO news is GOOD news).

We are accepting entries until Monday April 27th. Shortly after that we will randomly choose the 2 sponsored racers for this event.

There is still plenty of time left to submit your entry!!

Steve

Hello everyone

This morning we had the random drawing for this contest and I'm happy to announce the 2 winners. (insert drum-roll here)

Congratulations to:

Michael G - racing his 1967 Firebird

and

Armadillo - racing his 1966 Lemans

Each of these winners will receive Free Racer's admission for all 3 days of the event, prime reserved pit spaces and $100 cash for necessities.

If either of these winners will not be able to attend or race at this event, we will choose alternates from the remaining contestants.

Thanks to everyone that entered our contest. I hope you had fun finding the changes we made in the contest pictures. And we look forward to seeing many of you at Pontiacs in the Park.
