1978 Trans Am Hartop Drip Rail Molding Questions...

Hi. Can anyone advise on the following?

1. What are 1978 Trans Am Drip rail molding made of, plastic or stainless steel?

2. Are they one piece that runs up the front pillar onto the roof?

3. How do they go on? Screw in or snap on?

Thanks for your help.

Both styles were available in 78.
The metal ones seem to be more common in 78.

Plastic was simpler for a "dealer install",as they just slid on but they tended to loose their shiny pretty quick.

The metal ones screwed on under the windowseal gutter, which made for a more labour intensive install.

Hey, thanks for the information, I think I'll go with the metal type.
