MSD Timing computer

Has anyone tried using these on their pontiac. Its an MSD Timing Computer
Part No. 8980. Its used to electronically adjust the timing at low RPMs. I thought that this would be nice to have for my 461 stroker.

what are you trying to use it on , street car or race car ?
on a race car , its a fancy way of controling your ignition timing instead of mechanical fixed advance !

I have an 8981 adjustable timing computer( I think that's the number) that's for sale. I've had it for a while and replaced it when I bought an MSD Distributor. If you're interested give me a PM and I'll make you a killer deal on it.
