Rear Seat Belts-How to Not Cut them to..

I am wanting to remove the rear seat belts out of my 85 Grand Prix and dont want to cut them, does any one know how to remove them out of the side panel with out cutting them up?Sure would hate to see a nice set of grey rear seat belts go to waste.

The belts and the hardware (except for the torx head bolt)
should slide through the slot in the side panel.
It dosn't look like it will, but just force it through.
