Shifter
I have a 67 h/h shifter and in the restoration book it calls for two washers under the front mount. On mine it looks like it needs a bushing to keep it up for the cable not to be in a bind to be able to shift. Thanks for any info Bob

There are 4 thick(1/4")fiber washers 1 under each attaching point. But at the rear there is also 2 other washers(thin) along with the previous one mentioned.

Thanks for the info Scott are these still available. Bob

No idea if the thick washers are still available. Here are the pt #'s thick is 544476 and thin is 9421394. These pt#'s are from the assembly manual. I did not have the thin washers in my car just the thick washers.

Fiber washers seat to floor then the thin washer with shifter sitting on the washers with the bolt securing . The thin washers only show at center tunnel top attaching points. I used a steel washer.

Could you please tell us the thickness of these washers?

Charles the thick washers are 6mm or 1/4 " thick. I have no idea on the other two washers that go at the back of the shifter on their thickness. i used two regular steel washers there. The washers are in the assembly manual a total of 6 washers are shown in drawing # 9778563 section 35D page 361. If my camera was not acting up i would furnish a picture of the washers. The Le Mans floor shifter does not have the thinner washers at rear of shifter . The Dual Gate or His/Hers shows only has these extra two washers.
