Went to lunch today and was trying to park the car and rounded a corner and there is an Audi (the sport hybrid SUV thing) with flashers on blocking the road. :mad: Two guys in a large work truck are moving stuff around in the back of the truck which the car is sitting very close to. They keep looking at the car and then up and down the street.

Decide to park right there instead of waiting for the owner of the car and realize the car has HIT the work truck. Now thinking, how the hell???? :noidea:

As we are paying the parking fee, a woman comes rushing up and is yelling at the work guys, "Hey, stop! What are doing to my car?!?!?!" :confused:

The truck driver looks at her and asks, "This is your car?"

She starts getting a little snippy and then starts accusing him of hitting her car and pushing it into the street. He gives her one of those "you've got to be kidding me looks" and then calmly tells her, "Lady, i haven't moved my truck, but you need to move your car or when i drive away, it's going to continue to roll down the hill."

Now she's all flustered and trying to find her keys, sees the damage ot her car (didn't hurt the truck at all) and moves her car finally. AS she gets out, she's whining, "But I don't understand what happened?"

Apparently the DUMB ASS thought she could park a manual transmission car on a hill with the car in Neutral and the parking brake on with the tires turned out towards the street. :doh: :mad: :censored: :attention

My ex-GF told me I didn't spend enough time with her and she was right, I was working a lot and just had some other irons in the fire. So I said let's go out for dinner tonight, she said she had some errands. I said how 'bout tomorrow and she was doing something with her mother and had something the next night too! So I said I would take Fri off and we could do a three day weekend out of town.....nope, she had something to do. It took me about 5 minutes to pack her crap she had at my house and she was promptly kicked to the curb.

no... not a blond, just one of those plain jane browns (she didn't even qualify to be called a brunette - she was about the color of dirty dishwater). She had one of those new HUGE purses and those stupid crappy flip flops on that will hardly stay on your feet. She was at least in her mid-20s.

Don't get me wrong - i agree it's dumb to park the car in neutral and with the wheels pointing towards the street-- but assuming her parking brake worked fine and was applied correctly (and with enough strength), why did it roll??
