How do you search Craigslist for something....
....throughout the entire country? I gave up previously, because it seems to be set up by state and by city. I don't have the time for that.
I was told to use Google to search Craigslist, but that didn't seem to work either. For example, I'd type "Craigslist 1963 Pontiac" into Google, but the results weren't too useful. Anybody? |
I like this site... http://www.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/sd.cgi?...c&pg=0&cat=pts
Its pretty handy. |

Hope you have better luck than me on craigslist. Been looking to buy a truck, nobody responds to email or returns phone calls. Had one girl that did, she was helping her boyfriend sell his car she didn't know anything about it and said he was out of town, he was probably in jail.

One thing I dislike about Searchtempest is they post to tell you they didn't find anything in that geographic area which makes it impossible to do a true national search. If they would leave out the nothing-found areas it would be great.
I just tried Jaxed that theYman recommended, and it seems to cut through the clutter pretty efficiently. |
Jaxed is the best. I use it every day.

Try this:
This will also work with any other site (Ebay, Craigslist etc) First, go to GOOGLE.COM or GOOGLE.CA In this example we'll pretend we want to see all ads that have 1969 Pontiac listed in them. In the GOOGLE text window type: 1969 pontiac site:kijiji.ca Substitute "1969 pontiac" for the search term you wish to use. Want to search Ebay? Type: 1969 pontiac site:ebay.com |
I use an RSS reader called Snarfer, w/ a Craigslist plugin.
http://www.snarfware.com/ You can pick up to 20 different cities for a search. |
craigshelper will search every state
