OEM Paints - Honeycomb Wheel Paint - Where to buy?

Who has the OEM Paints Honeycomb wheel paint for sale? I got a quote of $69.95 plus $22/shipping for one can of spray paint from The Paddock. They also told me I probably needed 4 cans for 4 wheels.

I think the $69.95 price is ridiculous. I also think that they were trying to sell me too much paint. I have heard that one can is enough for 4 wheels.

Help me get my 15x7 Honeycombs looking new again. Where can I get this paint at a reasonable price? Reasonable would be $35-$40/can.

Thanks,

one can will cover 4 or 5 wheels as OEM paints go a lot further than a normal can of spray paint. I have a new can of the OEM Honeycomb paint I got for $40 a while back and I felt like I got taken at that price. Unfortunately there are only one or two places carrying their paint anymore and they all seem to be priced the same as what your finding. If you call OEM direct and speak to the owner he will agree to sell it direct to you, but at a minimun quantity of 3 cans and his price is no better. I just got 2 of the last cans of OEM Pontiac '72 Engine Teal from the Paddock that they have and paid $43 a can for them:eek:. You can have the PPG dealer mix the original honeycomb formula still or just find a close rattle can substitute and save the difference.

here is the thread with the PPG code and formula if you want to go that route:

Classic Ind has some listed as simulated magnesium OEM part # 11015 at $49.99 but when I received my order I got 1 can of the OER brand and billed $16.99. I thought it was a little too much blue in it and went with another color I found at the local auto parts store. They look great but unfortunetly, unless you have a OEM color swatch or NOS part to compare against you might not have an exact match.
