4 Police Officers lost -shot -Washington State
 

So sad -watching it live -whats wrong with people .

i haven't seen the news yet, but that sounds like some kind of 'gang intitiation' to me.

Maybe they didnt shoot back for fear of being prosecuted by the 'politically correct'.

Over in Connecticut, right now, theres an officer Lawlor being prosecuted by Conn.
bureaucrats for shooting a black man who had a semi-auto pistol and was attempting
to ram an ATF agent with his car while the passenger was trying to pick a weapon up
from the floor of the car presumably to shoot officer Lawlor.

After witnessing firsthand the dangers of what police officers face and being shot at (no I am not with the police) I have more respect about what they do and what they go through and anyone that shoots any law enforcement officer either should be shot on sight with no questions asked or put at the head of the line for the death sentence and fried immediately.

May God rest their souls and a prayer for their families, and may the person(s) that did this die face down in the gutter like the dogs they are.

OK, what does that have to do with the topic that started the post? Here is a link for others to decide for themselves: http://www.ct.gov/csao/cwp/view.asp?A=1802&Q=314666 I know little about the case but the facts to date are that no gun was ever found and the ATF officer testified that he did not see one. He testified that he did not feel his life was in danger at any time. It appears the driver was attempting to flee as both the AFT officer and Lawlor were on the driver and passenger sides respectively.

Anyway, right now, I don't see the point of guessing what happened in the Washington case. It is tragic when anyone loses their life to violence and as the facts emerge wouldn't it be more appropriate to weigh in then?

This hits close to home, as I grew up in Lakewood and went to college in Parkland.

Here is the sh!tstain they are looking for....should be rotting in a Arkansas prison, but Gov. Huckabee felt sorry for the waste of skin and set him free.

Stunning that the first stat was correct. I heard on the radio that he was out on bail for just this past week for sexual assault of a child. What is are judicial system thinking!

Latest news is he is a 37 yo. black man out on bail with 8? felony counts. The officers didn't go down without a fight. One fired back from the table and another one made it outside and struggled with him and died there. God rest there souls. I like Huckabee but I would like to know the story behind commuting his 95 year sentence after 11 years. What ever the reason it was a terrible move. Could it have been pressure from the black community to release this poor black man who was being persecuted? I'm sure the dems will get to the bottom of it. In any case I think it is the end of his pos. run for prez. in 2012.

Have to be insane to be a cop? Guess I'm insane then lol.... it may be dangerous but it's a rewarding career (not very 'monetarily' rewarding however...). Truth is a lot of officers get into their rutine and let their guard down. I don't blame the officers however, I mean who would ever expect to get shot getting coffee with their friends in a public place at the beginning of their shift?

I'm wondering what the logic is behind this? It seems out of context.

I don't want to make light of the subject of anyone dying ( except for the scumbag shooter), and I certainly don't know anything about being a police officer. What are they doing sitting in a coffee shop if their shift started? Isn't that what a squad room is for/ to recieve assignments and plan for the day. Sounds like they had a routine and the scumbag knew it.

Wow Fast, Tell me how you really feel. I was just curious. I don't know how big the city is where this happened. But if it's a small town that a good percentage of the force lost. Don't get me wrong, I hope when they do find the shooter they show him little mercy.

Gets commuted sentence by Huckabee.

Back inside the slammer for parole violation 3+ years later.

Second degree rape of a child and posts a $150,000 bond.
Wonder where he got the $15,000 he had to chip in?
Assualt on LEO, as well.

Other charges in WA including making wife and young relatives strip naked.

Walking around telling others he was Jesus.

Sounds like fourth officer may have shot him, mortally from earlier reports today.
