Anybody out there have a 3.43 for a 57-64 B body?

do you want a 57-58 or do you want a 59-64?The splines are diff.Tom

I just took note of the error I mean 59 not 57. 31 spline

I have a spare 3.42 posi if you get stuck.Tom

I have a carrier for a 3:43 and deeper. My 3:23 will not accept the posi carrier I have. Its an Eaton. thats why Im looking for 3:43 case. this thread is a shot in the dark. so.... what do you have and what do you want? dc

the case is not diff!The carrier is the diff.The 3.23 carrier wont take the 3.42 gears without a spacer.Tom

Had the 3.23 peg leg out of my car and tried to get the 3.23 gears on the eaton. would not fit. I talked with Brad at Fabcraft and was told that there is in fact a difference with the cases and the split is at the 3.23/3.43 ratio and that with the 3.43 case I could use my Eaton with my 3.23. I have been looking for that set up since. thanks

I think we are having a disc problem.The carrier is the posi center section and yes the 3.23 and the 3.42 carrier is diff.The case is usually refered to as the pumpkin or 3rd member.I do have a fresh rebuilt Dana style posi unit as I believe Brad does.PM me if you need pics.I know brad has X tra empty case also.Tom
