1969 Quarter Panel Options ???
Hello all I am new to this site but not my Love for GTO's, back in the 70's I had a 68 GTO and my friend had a 69 Judge we were never beat in that car.. Any way a year ago I purchased somebodys project Judge the drive train is all done but the body needs a little help. The floors are mintly but the lower rear quarters are ham & eggs. I found and purchased a NOS LH rear quarter but my delema is what to do for the RH side ! From what I found is that the only full quarter is a Dynacorn ! how do they fit ??? or would you suggest I piece it in ??? any NOS RH quarters out there ?
Hey any help would be appreciated ! Thank You this is a awesome site ! |
Yes, they exist, but they are spendy.

I have used the full Dynacorn quarters with good results. They do require some fitting for the 69s as they were originally tooled for the 68s. They have eliminated the quarter lights so everyone needs to cut in their light holes. I would use them again.

They fit well... if time is taken getting them in the right position. I've installed about a dozen of them.

I have also used dynacorn full 1/4's they fit real well. While we were hanging the right side it was getting late and it did not want to fit around the rear window opening. Called it a day went back the next day the sun was shining thru the window onto the panel and you guessed it the panel fit perfect hurried up and tacted it in place and all was good lol. Just to show how the weather affects steel.

Do the Dynacorn quarters come with a template for cutting the side marker light?
|
Is Dynacorn the only producer of full 69 quarters?
