WTB 1975-1979 Pontiac Ventura/Phoenix Manual Trans

Looking for a 1975-1979 Pontiac Ventura/Phoenix with manual trans.

That's gonna be like finding a needle in a haystack, but I wish you luck!

I didn't know the 75-up were available with manual, until I lucked into finding my '75 Custom hatchback in 1982. After that, I saw 2-3 others, the last one being in a salvage yard around 1989. It was a red '76 2-door with I-6.
I sold my '75 in January 1990, with leaf springs shifting so bad, it had a good 18" of dogtrack. Drafty quarters, and 205K miles. Some wayfaring people bought it when their '74 Impala locked up on the interstate.

I'd love to have another 75-77 Ventura.

Can't hold my breath on this one, but they've got to be out there!

I actually found a 1976 Ventura 260 3-speed. Was OK except that the interior is trashed. I doubt I'd be able to find a whole 76 Ventura interior in good shape to fix that any time soon.

So did you buy that '76???

I just found this low mile '76 which would be a good candate to do a conversion to 'factory stick' using donor car parts. The 3-speed car you found would be such a donor. The price seems pretty fair for a nice survivor, IMHO. Heck the clean almost mint red interior is probably worth $500.
I would encourage you to rescue it, knowing it may end up a belated victim of the salt belt, otherwise.
