Has anyone here used these guys for Moog parts? Pros, Cons?

I get MOOG parts from car quest

Made two separate orders from them. Fast shipping and good pricing. Only downfall was no communication on backordered parts or parts that were shipped from another warehouse. I received a partial order with no information regarding a backordered part. Opened an inquiry from their web site and the response was within 2hrs. Again, they were a good company to do business with.

You can get moog parts from just about any auto parts place. Unless there is considerable savings to be had in buying them from that site, I'd just get them at my local parts store. Then you have a place to take them for warranty replacement should you need to. That site is good to get the parts numbers from though.

I just checked, for my 1980 Firebird, Rockauto.com is cheaper. Rockauto is also in the US. For 4 tie rods, 2 adjusting sleeves, center link, and an idler arm, rock auto was $14 cheaper than that moog site. Not much, but something. :) The same stuff at Summit was $45 more expensive.

One Auto parts place here was $1100 Can and Moog in the States was $560 US with shipping..

Yes some parts places are just out to lunch on their prices, especially with the parity of the Canadian and US dollars.

This is exactly why I have a US mailing address.

A pair of 1LE Raybestos rotors from RockAuto were $140US shipped. CarQuest in Woodstock wants $233 tax in for the same ones and I have an account with them! Kumho tires drop shipped from TireRack saves me about $100 per tire including the delivery charges, over the same ones from Provincial Bandag (only dealer) in Fredericton.

This is one of the advantages of living close to the border again. Plus some US companies only sell to the lower 48.
