I know that the part between the G-T-O on the fender emblems is supposed to be painted body color. What about the front grille and trunk emblems?

Black.....We used semi-gloss.

Yeah, black makes sense for the Grille, trunk too?

Yes, all of the emblems (trunk & grille) other than the GTO fender emblems are painted black in between the letters. The Fender emblems are body color in between the letters.

I painted the GTO letters on my trunk White. Why? Painted black on liberty blue you could not see the emblem. Being white, you can. Plus I like it that way. :)

Yeah...That was another WHY question I had that never found an answer to...Why are all the inside of the letters of GTO emblems on a '69 GTO painted white except for the trunk??? Did they just decide to use the same one from the 64-68, to save money???
