A thing of beauty! One of my favorite cars there.
|
That was a NICE car. sounded good too.
|
is it me or does that car not look like Solar red?
It has the WOW factor of being triple red tho |
That was very nice!
|
I believe the owner probably got tired of me looking at it. It is a great car.
I looked at it and the CR Judge a great deal of the time. This was my first convention since 1989 so I had a lot of fun! |
That is one monster of a car - who owns it? Is there a story that goes with it?
Thanks for the pictures! |
Nope, no story..............lol.
I believe his name was Rob C???? I'm sure someone else will remember his last name. Oh yeah, 9,300 miles--lots of it a quarter mile at a time. Rob said that it had the original engine. I did not question him on that. I need to take a pad with me to record things..........................:old: |
I did not know the firebirds used the long branch type exhaust manifolds from the big cars. Very cool indeed.

This car belongs to a member on here. This is a 4 option car. nothing else, ra 2, gauges, 4 speed and rearend. He bought it 7 years ago and just finished it recently. I am sure he will chime in here shortly and tell his story. chuck

Wow!
Radio delete, gauges, RA II, 4-speed, red, it doesn't get much better than that! What is the steering wheel option it has? I don't remember seeing one like that. |
Base wheel for Firebird and Tempest
|
I thought....
F-bodies got 7" wheels? Just curious.
|
Is that the RAII that 1stgencamaro was restoring?
|
very nice for sure. I was told he got docked points for the color being a shade off. sorry for the bad pic. it was hard to get good pics in there.

WOW, thats alot of red!
The strg whl does look alittle big compared to my 67 & 68. Could be an optical contusion... |

Not sure about the 67 FB. The center cap looks like the 67 style. That style wheel was definitely used on the 68 Camaro. |
Ya, does look a camaro. Not sure what yr/mdl the cap is.
Both my 67/have & 68/had deluxe. |
NOT a camaro wheel. not even close.
|
I have that horn cap on my car and I think that steering wheel. Mine is a Standard 68 FB interior.
