Wire to Transmission
 

Bought a new wiring harness for my '68 Firebird 400 automatic and there is a long black wire that (according to a wiring diagram) is supposed to go to the down-shift solenoid - where is this located on the transmission - I can't find any existing wires that go to the transmission, just a vacuum line.

drivers side of transmission,single spade connector for the kick down.
