OK..whats this? JURY tempest
I got this off the Canadian Ponch site...anyone know what it is? is it a Canadian thing? Like a California GS????opinions?
They say they are all silver post cars with blue interior and stripes...its ugly but so cool... http://i396.photobucket.com/albums/p...37/aaajury.jpg |
Yep put out by a dealer in Canada, pretty rare car only a few hundred made IIRC.
IMO there's no ugly there. MIke |
Now thats a cool rare car.Wouldn't mind having that in the garage next to a oo judge.
|
I'd take it over a Judge anyday, personal preference there.
|
Do a search for JURY and you should get some good info there. It is a specialty car produced by a dealer in Canada.
|
looks lke a modified TRANS AM SPOILER in this pic, but they say its a 69 GTO spoiler..made 26 of them...

There is one in Saskatoon Sask it needs to be restored I saw it in the 90s when I was droping off some parts

Very cool Dealer prepped car no different than a Comanche Firebird or Yenko Camaro

There are still a few of these cars still in Calgary .One has been restored to original with new stripes and jury stickers that the owner had remade from pictures and remaining parts on original cars like mine . I have one of the 4spd cars . It has been painted in primer over the silver but the stripes were not all covered and was used for the new stripes. He was going to give me some of the Jury stickers he had made for his but have not talked to him since then. One other car in town has a GTO hood and Judge stripes on it now .http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...d.php?t=568657

Which spoiler did yours have - 69 or 70?
|
It has the 69 . All the ones that I have seen or heard about have the 69. The add shows the car with a 70 spoiler .There was also talk about the dealer changing the rear gears to higher ratio like 390s or 433s but have not had any proof of that as my car came without diff as it was bought to get the diff for a 69 GTO that was given away in a raffle and I do not know where it went.

awesome ya have one of them...survival rate had to be almost none... |
Calgary Alberta is your best bet to find one, since the Dealer that did up these cars was there. I have seen one in Vancouver. Very rare cars indeed
