1964 GTO Air Conditioning help

Just buttoning up the factory AC on my '64 GTO and need help with a few items.

Does someone have a picture of how the drier mount attaches to the core support? I just installed a correct AC core support, but it's got no holes for the drier mount. Maybe it came from an HD cooling car and not an AC car?

I also could use a picture of the rear compressor mount to the intake manifold (tripower). It appears that some sort of spacer is required between the small triangular compressor bracket and the manifold bracket, as they are about 1" apart when lined up.

That should get me started, I'm sure I'll have a few more questions. Thanks for the help.

Can't speak for sure on 64 but I have a complete 65 setup that I am pulling off a car and getting ready to sell.

On a 65 the dryer mounts to the core support using a strap that goes around the dryer and clamps to the lower fan shroud bolt.

the triangle part on the back of the compressor has a off set in it. its not flat.
I may have a spare on of these around if you are interested.

I can send some pictures if you need them

Thanks for the reply klunker, I appreciate the help. I've seen the drier strap you are referring to and I think it's the later '65 setup which mounts with a small strap and single bolt. The '64 mount is quite large and has two holes. I'll try to get a picture up tonight.

Maybe I've confused things on the triangle rear bracket since there are two of them. I have the lower offset mount, which connects the back of the compressor to the mount bolted to the head. I'm referring to the smaller bracket which mounts to the upper right rear of the compressor. I boxed it in red in the attached photo.

Again, speaking of the 65 I have here. It has a 13/16 dia. x appox. .30 spacer. Actually mine has 3 washers in it. I have a baggie full of A/C spacers from various years. I looked thru it found nothing exactly as I measured my 65. Some close, nothing exact. If someone can tell you exactly what size spacer you need I may have one. Nothing else I can make one.

I figured out my dryer mount issue - both of the mounts I have are for a big car, I need the smaller strap that you are describing. I noticed the mounts were different in the AC manual, which was a great purchase.
