Spring Perch Plate & backing plate Color?
 

In the process of restoring the 10 bolt in my 73 TA. In some of my reference pics I have, the plates are a natural looking metal color (same as diff housing), and in others, they look like they are black. Same goes for the brake backing plates.

What is right?
