Vacuum Pump bracket and pulleys?

1 Attachment(s)
Considering using this Stef's vacuum pump on 455 in a 67 GTO. Anyone have advice or experience on what type of brackets and pulleys/belts to use? I have factory 455 block and d ports with stock style water pump, balancer and alternator setup. Thx.

Hey Polar. Which Kit did you get from GZ. They don't list anything for Pontiacs on their site. Thanks, Mike

You will have serious issues trying to fit a mandrel to stock balancer......I had to put an ATI Super Damper on mine. These suckers spin fast...running off of stock pulleys will be way to slow to make the vacuum pump work.

Check out http://www.starvacuumpumps.com/ for information and installation diagrams

Be ready to make your own brackets

wow, glad I asked. Did you use their bracket (STR04.01.004) to mount directly to a Pontiac head?
