'68 Instrument Cluster Lights/Wiring

I have zero lights anywhere on my dash & glovebox. I traced the diagrams to find that a gray wire should be running all of the dash lights, but I can't seem to locate where it is supposed to be connected on the instrument cluster. There are plenty of black turn-key light holders, but I don't see anywhere on the back of the gauges where the electric is connected.

Any guidance on where I should be looking on the cluster would be most appreciated ;)

The glove box light power wire should be orange and it is not on the same circuit as the gray wire that supplies power to the dash lights. Trace the dash light bulbs on the printed circuit and see which terminal they end up at the cluster connector. The ground side of the dash bulb printed circuit will go to other stuff like a gauge so you will know that is not the power feed to the dash light. Check the tail lamp fuse. If no power then the dash lights will not work since the tail laight fuse powers up the dash light fuse.:)

It was the cluster connector that I was unsure about. I saw where something plugged into the printed circuit board on the back of the cluster, I saw something that looked like it went in there, but didn't have the nerve to give it a try until I read your post and counted the pins. On the upside, the gas guage now works as well!

Thanks
