Typical FL beach car...bet the car was less than 1 mile from the saltwater....seen that set-up many times here in the Tampa Bay area.....yuk...what a shame....was probably "gonna restore that car someday" car

Jack Peters 12-15-2010 03:47 AM

Or maybe it has been in the salt water during a hurricane? In a flood?

2002Z4CSS 12-15-2010 08:05 AM

Seems like it is rather high priced.

The Boss 12-15-2010 09:13 AM

Wow!

They must have some of them metal eatin termites there! ;)

bigborehunter 12-15-2010 11:19 AM

Do you think there is any way this car will be restored? It looks disasterous and with the prices Judges are getting today, I can't see anyone tackling it.

carmak 12-15-2010 11:24 AM

That was a great looking car when new! I suspect we will see it again as a rebody.

Talk about the rust bucket fixer-upper.

I need a tetanus shot just looking at this thing. That is a shame that would be a real nice looking goat. Seems kinda high and it looks like it was under water at one point.

Burgundy with red interior...haven't seen that color combo before. Has anyone seen a 69 GTO with burgundy exterior and red interior?

The Boss 12-15-2010 05:47 PM

Those red interiors get darker & darker over time......why?

i think that's basically what the seller is saying in response to one of the questions....

This car can be repaired, I would start with top and tail which would be by taking a tempest le mans or gto body and cut it between the windshield post, and floor, and put it on that frame

With a factory white vinyl top as well, very unique color combo on this Judge....wow!

70455HOVert 12-15-2010 06:40 PM

Wow...what a shame. There were a ton of old musclecars in a small desert town in CA that I lived in for 3 years, a '70 Cutlass Rallye 350 and a '70 Challenger RT/SE to name two. They would sit in yards, with the "not for sale, gonna restore it someday" line from the owner. At least with those I knew they'd never rust out from sitting in the desert.

CDN2PLS2 12-15-2010 07:11 PM

WOW! That car would be Striking New. Too Bad.

Ron Landis 12-15-2010 09:57 PM

Actually...

I was trying to buy a '67 Camaro SS in these colors. A friend of mine was killed in the car before I could get it away from the owner. Looked sweet...IMHO.

Ron Landis 12-15-2010 09:59 PM

Yup...

shipping on this one is about forty-two cents!

70455HOVert 12-16-2010 01:44 AM

How much do you think would come back from the media blaster?

davesjudge 12-16-2010 12:59 PM

Well if you had even a semi good GTO/LeMans and if the # matching motor and trans were useable I can see someone buying it and swaping the tags and drivetrain. Presto changeo you have a nice numbers matching judge worth 30K or so, well worth the $7500price.
