Wow this car sure has had a hard life
Typical FL beach car...bet the car was less than 1 mile from the saltwater....seen that set-up many times here in the Tampa Bay area.....yuk...what a shame....was probably "gonna restore that car someday" car
Or maybe it has been in the salt water during a hurricane? In a flood?
Seems like it is rather high priced.
Wow!
They must have some of them metal eatin termites there! ;) |
Do you think there is any way this car will be restored? It looks disasterous and with the prices Judges are getting today, I can't see anyone tackling it.
That was a great looking car when new! I suspect we will see it again as a rebody.

I.M.H.O.
Talk about the rust bucket fixer-upper.
I need a tetanus shot just looking at this thing. That is a shame that would be a real nice looking goat. Seems kinda high and it looks like it was under water at one point.
Burgundy with red interior...haven't seen that color combo before. Has anyone seen a 69 GTO with burgundy exterior and red interior?
Those red interiors get darker & darker over time......why?

This car can be repaired, I would start with top and tail which would be by taking a tempest le mans or gto body and cut it between the windshield post, and floor, and put it on that frame |

Wow...what a shame. There were a ton of old musclecars in a small desert town in CA that I lived in for 3 years, a '70 Cutlass Rallye 350 and a '70 Challenger RT/SE to name two. They would sit in yards, with the "not for sale, gonna restore it someday" line from the owner. At least with those I knew they'd never rust out from sitting in the desert.
WOW! That car would be Striking New. Too Bad.
Actually...
