68 Power Window Boot
 

I can't find and information (pictures) in the 68 service manual or body manual about the power boot.

I assume the car would be punched out at the dimple labeled 3.

Also does anyone know what the hole labeled "1" is for.

I also assume the the door is puched where the dimple is.

The boot is bigger on one end and looks like it could be bolted or riveted to the door and car. I assume that the smaller end is installed in the door and that it would be positioned with the flaps pointed down.

I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm that this is the correct way before I start punching holes.

You have your holes and dimples labeled correctly. Hole A is for the antenna lead. We screwed the grommet to the door.

It will be at a little below your arm rest on the door panel. It is 327 am i will look at it beter in the day light.
