68 Power Window Boot
I can't find and information (pictures) in the 68 service manual or body manual about the power boot.
I assume the car would be punched out at the dimple labeled 3. http://peripheraltech.com/gto/cowl022.jpg Also does anyone know what the hole labeled "1" is for. I also assume the the door is puched where the dimple is. http://peripheraltech.com/gto/door025.jpg The boot is bigger on one end and looks like it could be bolted or riveted to the door and car. I assume that the smaller end is installed in the door and that it would be positioned with the flaps pointed down. http://peripheraltech.com/gto/gromet26.jpg http://peripheraltech.com/gto/gromet27.jpg I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm that this is the correct way before I start punching holes. |
You have your holes and dimples labeled correctly. Hole A is for the antenna lead. We screwed the grommet to the door.
