Which trim rings fit 15 x 7 Rally II

I'm interested in purchasing trim rings for my factory 15 x 7 Rally II wheels from Summit. They sell a 2" deep, 2.5" and 3"...Which one is correct for the factory 15 x 7?

Has anyone purchased these before? Quality OK?

Just piggy backing to this post.

I have the same question for 15 by 6 Rally II's, but from any source.

Thanks,

If you're not going for 100% original I say do a 3". They will fit flush with the face of the wheel.

This is what a 2.5" looks like on a 15x7

Is that your GTO? If so, how much room (gap) do you have between the trim ring and the rim face? Also, what size tire are you running?

Yes it is my car. There is about a 1/2" gap. I used to run 3" rings in all 4 corners and they would sit flush with the face of the wheel. I am running a 235/60/15 in the front.

This is a picture of the old 3" rings.

Hope it helps!

Thanks for the quick response!

Out of curiosity, do you still have the 3" rings? If so, would you sell them?

3" Is definitely the way to go....Thanks for the advice

where did the 3" rings come from?

A budget solution is to look for '74-'77 Cutlass with 15" SS wheels in the junkyard. Their trim rings fit properly and Olds sold almost half a million Cutlasses some years. Delta 88s in that era also used the same trim ring with a different center cap sometimes.

Thanks, but I am looking to buy new. My problem is the 15X7 are deep 3". I am only finding 2-2.5 inch trim rings that resemble a pontiac beauty ring.

So basically I am looking for specific info directing me to the trim rings. The web sites like wheel vintiques don't give depth for some of their products.

Thanks for your help.

I also would like to know where to get the 3" trim rings. Anybody?

I found my set off Ebay. I was actually quite impressed with the quality and the seller was top notch. Two of the rings were scratched, so I sent the sell an email and I had new ones in a matter of days.

Are these the ones? http://www.ebay.com/itm/GM-CHEVROLET...sories&vxp=mtr

I have a 2.5" in the front and a 3" in the back. But this is the seller I bought from and I was happy my purchase. Hope it helps.
