71 GTO pedel assy needed
 

I am FNG to forum but I have been lurking and gleening knowledge from here for some time now. Dad wore out the clutch pedel in his GTO and we need a new one???

By clutch pedal do u mean the pad or the entire clutch pedal assy?

I am assuming I would have to get the whole assy. At some point someone tryed to weld things and bent things and redrilled and I want the geometry to be right.

I have one for sale I believe is correct for 71 and 72. Complete except for he correct chrome trim on the clutch pedal pad. Not a repo, it's an original unit. $100.00 + Shipping.

well, I've done some digging and I haven't a clue to what vehicle this pedal setup goes to. Could be 73 and 74 GTO or even Firebirds.

Thank you much for digging and posting the photos. The pedel that I need has a bracket attached (spot welded) for the clutch link rod and is the "bolt type" vs the "pin type" where it pivots. It is indeed pictured in the PY catalog but is not listed as available???:confused2

Today I removed the pedel from the assembly, and it is just the clutch pedel that I need. I am leaving on a road trip to Madison, WI to pick up Buffy the 69 firebird and I will be traveling I-80 Tuesday thru Friday. I would sure like to pick-up the clutch pedel on the way! Any help? Remember the pedel needed is for a 71 GTO.
