69 window crank knob color

When were the black window crank knobs used?
Seems like a dumb question, but my car with a black interior, came with the clear knobs.

color matching knobs stopped in 68 on these, the clear knobs are correct (the originals look like amber after 40 years!)

Thanks. I was trying to remember if I ever saw a 69 with colored knobs. I think I will go ahead and replace with black knobs anyways. Clear knobs are pretty when new, but they sure don't age very good.

c'mon....that's just "patina"! I actually prefer the amber look, a new clear one just don't look right on there. I've been driving these for too many years with the old yellow aged ones and when one breaks I go to the drawer of old spares before putting a new one on there. I hear you on the matching color ones though, my 67 with the turquois interior wouldn't be the same without the matching knobs.
