Beautiful 69 convertible at Volo Auto Museum..
What a pretty car, great options and the colors are perfect but for $59,000 you think it would be a frame off with a detailed undercarriage. Dont understand why folks leave the modern decals on the replacement a/c compressor either.

I had a 70 455 convert optioned out alot like this and same colors..it was an oustanding jaw dropper, just like this one...

"Appraised at $65,000, can be yours for only $58,998"
What a deal......not. |

You just have to be careful what you're buying at Volo. They were caught knowingly selling a clone as an authentic, and were taken to court. They have a chop shop in house now, so you never know what you're getting. Because of the lawsuits, they now have "To the best of our knowledge" at the top of every ad description, to cover their butts.
I also wish they would get rid of that white background on all their photos. Cars don't look good sitting a studio, especially surrounded with white on the walls and floors. It throws the colors off, adds strange reflections, and just makes it look like a cheap die-cast. They need to leave to the artsy-fartsy white backdrop stuff to jewelery store ads. |
I think the opposite, the white background helps you see the lines better. All in all some nice picture taking there. Unique shot from the rear with both doors open. It's a very nice car.
At least the a/c compressor decals are smaller than the "400" air cleaner one you see so often. They list it as having the remote mirror but the regular one's installed. |
Great color combo!
Biased? Who me?
