Curt Geise crash at Sonoma
Anyone hear anything. Hope he is ok
from drc - Both cars start their burnouts and then Geise's turbo GTO gets in his own oil and nails the guard rail with the right front fender.
Curts ok, right?
Found out Curt's OK. He'll be back at work tomorrow.. I'll give him a call and try to get details. Hope the GTO wasn't too damaged when he hit the guardrail.
Glad its not worse and hope Curt is fine. Hope the oil problem was something like an oil line and not a hurt motor.
Very Sorry to hear that BAD NEWS (the crash).

Hope the damage is minimal. Main thing is that he is a OK.
That stinks. Hope it's not too bad.
What everyone else already said.
Just talked to Curt. He's just a little stiff from hitting the guard rail. He's not exactly sure what caused the car to pull into the wall. As for the car, Curt said the GTO has a couple bent tubes and some body damage but the drivetrain is OK. If all goes well he'll be racing a Firebird in Super Gas this weekend. I have to give Curt credit for jumping right back on the saddle again so soon. Definitely a hardcore racer. :3gears: Way to go Curt!

Glad to hear he is ok. Car's can be replaced, people can not.

Thanks guys -- Got a sore neck and bruised ego -- Best I can fugure was to much wheel speed on the burn out - when I lifted the car was crooked and the the rear tires hooked and pushed the car sideways into to the wall - happened so fast I couldnt get hold of it in time - drive train and suspension all ok - some frame rails and a fuel cell have seen beter days along with some fiberglass damage -- one more leason learned -- I hope

Glad you are OK Curt!

X3! Sorry to hear about the mishap... I can certainly relate to tire hook when pointed in less than desireable directions! Hope you can get that animal back on the track no worse for wear.
X4 Curt.
I'm sorry to hear that!
Glad to hear you are fine.
Glad you are OK. Hope your car is back on the track soon.
