Christmas present

Anybody else buy themselves a Pontiac related Christmas present? I just got mine early, a California Car Cover that will hopefully protect the Catalina this winter since we don't have a garage.

I am getting an new air compressor.

Mine's overdue for a gift! I should plan on giving it something... maybe getting those throttle blades for that almost-done tri-power setup I have collecting dust in the basement!

This is a fun little forum thread!

I am having Cliff rebuild my Q-JET :o)

I might put a new top on the bonnevile convert and/or buy the lemans a new rug for the interior.

The high end California Cover is worth every bit of the nearly $400 they charge. I have been using them for about 9 years in Florida. No one believes that my car doesn't sit in a garage all day.

I'm thinking maybe a new radiator would be something that Santa should consider----HO HO HO

Nothing yet - However if all goes well (fingers crossed!), next Spring my '62 GP will finally get the body and paint finished.

I think I bought myself enough presents this year! ;)

My 65 is getting a new set of disc brake rotors real soon.

Nope, got other irons in the fire right now that will improve the quality of life overall.

My wagon was my gift to me, maybe a 4 wheel disc brake kit from scarebird

Andre, I didn't get the top dollar one, mine was about $239. How long do yours hold up typically?

Mike Diaz! I remember you from Blacksburg, where you been and how's the big Bonneville?

MOJO Catalina 12-10-2011 10:27 AM

Time... After a busy holiday season I'm getting some time to drop better engines in my '60 Safari and '63 BV cvt. Spring is going to be great fun around here (I hope)

Find out next Saturday. Looking at a running 428 for my GTO. :)

Helge71 12-13-2011 09:09 AM

A RediRad for the '65 Catalina and a set of redline 215/75 15s for the GTO...:)

Helge

As far as pontiac items, I am working on an order now that I will put through for rear airbags, carpet, armrests, gas lines, trim rings, back up lamps, trans kit, sending unit and a bunch of other items. Trying to get back to needs on the car vs wants so that I may actually get the car driveable prior to summer.

Just need to sell my 65-66 brake kit first. If anyone is interested, its listed in the parts section.
