exhaust question

68 gto with a 455 bored .030 over with ported and milled 6x heads. I want to know two things. First of all which is better a balance tube or the crosstube? and secondly what size exhaust should I go with. Thank you for any and all input.

2 1/2" with X pipe will be fine.

I have a 68 vert. with the same heads or at least similar and I have 2 1/2 from headers out... with x pipe...works good for me. BTW I see you are new here.... Welcome.
