Hi Tommy,

What happened to the GTO race car?

Mike

Still have it ,it is faster and better than ever with the new tiger heads and my old IA1 block, but I need to get down to 3100 LBs, and that won't happen in that body, will probably sell it when I get the other one built. I need to run low 8's and am in 8.60's now but I am 3535 with me in car and i am 245 car is under 3300 but I need it to be 2850 to be competitive

350 HO 4 speed ? If so quite rare .

wovenweb 03-11-2012 09:47 PM

Rally stripe, so not HO. It is a base 350 3-speed car. I'm using it for parts...

you DID check PHS...right? A 350 4-barrel was typically an HO. Just sayin'....with stick and posi...I'd have to be sure. Ron

The intake is a May '68 date and the heads on the engine were #17's which should have been the standard head for 350 engines. It appears someone added the intake and carb and HEI at a later date.

FWIW, I didn't check the PHS. Yet...but it appears PHS prices are up a bit since the last time I ordered.
