super bowl parties
Anyone having a GIANT spread. :)
Mine is very simple. The big one downtown was enough. Soo many people, est at 200k I had to walk the side streets to leave. Georgia street was packed elbow to elbow. Very cool but CRAZY. patrick |
Not having one this year. I've found it too hard to actually watch the game!!!!

Was down there last night for a couple hrs Patrick with some friends, defintely elbow to elbow in some spots, alot of people!! got behind the ESPN crew doing there pre game show and waved at the tv cameras LOL!! had fun, but i wasn't 100%, my first time out of the house for any length of time since my acid reflux surgery 2 weeks ago, so no drinking any "adult beverages" for me. and i was with friends with there kids.

It was so nice here Friday and I needed to fire up the 'bird for it's monthly warm up anyhow I drove it downtown to check out the crowd. It was fun cruising though the Superbowl village and got plenty of thumbs-ups and "hell yeah" screams (not to mention the cries to 'light 'em up).
I have never seen so many people downtown here. It was almost like 30th & Georgetown on race weekend. They are already talking about the next one. I hear that the 50th SB location hasn't been decided yet, would be nice to get that game here too. I wonder if they'll do it as a Roman "L" or "XXXXX". The L seems weird, I bet they do the 5 X's instead. What do you think? Crappy cell phone pic: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...1&d=1328422853 |
