Master cylinder cover leak
 

I have a new master cylinder, cover and seal but it leaks at the back where the rubber seal comes through the cover. The original did the same thing so that's why I replaced them. Anyone else ever have this problem?
Also, Is it really normal that these are tilted backwards so much? Car is level.
67 GTO with power brakes.

Yes pitch is correct for Tempest. Pontiac (B-Body) was almost level.

There should be aprox 1/2 space from the rear rim to top of Fl.
Hard to tell from the pic you may be a bit high.

Don't know if it's poss but you may be getting some sort of back pressure?
When is the last time you cleared the lines?

I did complete 4 wheel clean flush when I replaced the master cylinder. I know the picture shows shadows and reflections so its hard to see but the fluid is about 1/3 of an inch from the top of the back lip, so maybe a little high.

Damn thing is still leaking.
Question. Should the rubber seal 'bellows' be pulled out, when you put the cover on. Or should they be pushed up all the way in?

All the way in. The bellows goes in as the fluid level lowers.

Opps, I mean the bellows "unfolds" as the fluid level drops.
