NEW PY CONTEST - Part Number Find
Hello everyone,
We have a challenging new contest for all of you loyal PY Forums member. It requires some solid Pontiac knowledge and a bit of research but we hope it will also be fun for everyone who attempts it. Here's what you have to do: 1) Below are 8 pictures of Pontiacs. In each picture I've "whited out" a part. Your goal is to identify the part that I've "whited out" and figure out it's PY part number. http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest01.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest02.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest03.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest04.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest05.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest06.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest07.jpg http://pysales.com/Part-Find-Contest08.jpg 2) Once you've figured out the part numbers that were "whited out" from each of the 8 pictures, send me a PM with the following: a. the 8 PY part numbers and their corresponding picture number. b. Your name c. Your mailing address You have until Noon (EST) next Monday (May 7th, 2012) to submit your entry. From the entries who find all 8 PY part numbers, we will randomly choose 3 winners. Here are the prizes for those 3 winners: 1st place: $100 PY Gift Certificate 2nd place: $50 PY Gift Certificate 3rd place: PY Prize Pack I recommend you start by identifying the year and model of each Pontiac pictured. That may have an effect on the part number you need to look up. You can use our current print catalogs (if you have them), the downloadable PDF versions of our catalogs or the PY online ordering site to look up the part numbers. Best of Luck to everyone!! |
The p/n for #6 is:

I did remove the license plate number from the front plate in picture #8. Please disregard that. The other "whited out" part is what I'd like you to identify. Steve |
There is a part number I'm looking for on #6.
That part is in all of our current GTO, Firebird & GP catalogs. The shape should jump out at you from this part's picture. Plus the contest needed a sharp looking Ventura. Good Luck Steve |
I sent you a email
