1974 Catalina 4dr

I had this posting on c list and a nice gentleman suggested I post here.

1974 Pontiac Catalina
56,xxx miles (going up slowly) (have documentation to prove mileage)
4 door 400ci 2 barrel
original engine tranny carb

Bad/Ok:
Copper color, needs respray minimal rust around rear window and roof, hood is pitted, under body is mint
2 cracks on dash
Rear window seal leaks
Couple sheared header bolts (exhaust leaks)
rear sill fabric/vinyl has some damage
front seat has some tears but foam is in good shape (interior is extremely nice)
removed ac compressor, but still have it (retrofitted and system held pressure but no cold air)
passenger front seat belt needs new buckle
fan pulley seems to be a bent, causes a little squeak
vinyl piece between front bumper and body has shrunk a little and needs paint
dash lights are not working
I have the missing pieces from the rear bumper

New:
water pump and timing chain/sprocket
valve cover gaskets
rotor button and cap
plug wires/spark plugs
retrosound car stereo in stock spot
power steering flush and new fluid
tires in last 8k miles
brake booster and master cylinder
alternator and power steering belts

Car runs and drives everyday. Would drive across the county if gas prices weren't so high. Car gets around 14 mpg which is not bad for the size and weight of the car.

Looking For 3000 or a trade.
If offering a trade, I don't want anything that needs a lot of work. Looking mainly for honda, vw, audi, 4x4 truck, jeep. Don't be afraid to offer a trade worst I can say is no.

I am open to offers...

Welcome to the forums. It looks like it is Fire Coral Bronze, the same color of a Grand Am I just sold. I'd be interested in it, but I am trying to sell a few my self. Good luck with the sale.

I'm keepin' an eye on it. That is my favorite 74 color. Unfortunately, right now all I could offer are trades, but neither are are what you are looking for. Can you send me any other pics? Like interior and underhood, and anything else you'd want to see if you were looking at it? My email is [email protected].

Thanks, Dave

I have some local interest, if the local interest falls through I'll snap some more pictures.
