Made in Canada sticker
Does anyone reproduce the little white sticker that is above the heater core on firewall on canadian built cars. It says (Made in Canada) and the rest I can't make out. Ive seen these on two original Judges including my own. Mine is faded and I will need to redo firewall at some point. Thanks

Is this the sticker you're talking about? Mine is on the passenger side inner fender, not the firewall. I don't know if anyone reproduces it or not.

Thanks for the pics. |
Thanks both of us for the pictures, my car was built in Oshawa, and those stickers are probably long gone..

Jim Osborn lists several Canadian Pontiac decals in his printed catalog however I don't see them listed online. http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/
I got one of the oil change stickers (fenderwell location) from them for my 70 Oshawa Judge & it is just like the original. |

The smaller sticker is the same as the bottom part of the larger sticker and says General Motors of Canada LTD and I think was on all cars sold in Canada and was added later . I have seen both of these on many of the cars I have had. And I think there are a few on the ones I still have .

I have only ever seen them on Canadian built cars

I have the larger Canadian decals but not the small ones North Those Decals were put on US built Pontiacs that were sold new in Canada. |
In 30 plus years of owning and parting out GTO's and other Pontiacs of the late 60's I have never seen any of those stickers on anything but Canadian built cars.

Here's a pic of both stickers from Jim Osborn. They are in his printed catalog but not online. The small one is #DT0479 & the oil change one is DT0505.

Slightly off topic... for the Oshawa built GTO's, weren't they also the only GTO's built with a GM Canada sticker on the driver's door jamb? Faintly remember a friend's restoration of a Canadian built Pepper Green Judge - it had a round white sticker on the door jamb by the door latch, I think it had "Made in Canada" with the outline of a maple leaf in the middle. ??

Nice stickers, but the larger one is incorrect or at least it's different from the one on my car, which is original.

My car was built in Oshawa on April 15, 1970. It has the blue "MANUFACTURED BY GENERAL MOTORS OF CANADA LTD." sticker on the drivers door. Here's a picture of it (picture modified to obscure VIN).
