CVF Racing billet pulleys info
 

Anybody running these pulleys or know if they are good quality? They look like nice pulleys for the money. Any advice on these or other pulleys would be appreciated.

These pulleys are for the '71-up bracket system. They are advertised to work with the '68-newer balancer, 11 bolt standard water pump and stamped bracket system used '71-newer. If you've got a mix-matched setup or parts from '70-older these pulleys may not work.

The price is about 1/2 of the Ramair restoration billet pulleys I have on my car. The advantage of the RARE pulleys is that they support all of the '70-older combinations and conversions typically done. Their customer service is great.

If these CVF guys have a set that will fit your application and have good customer service, it might be worth a try. The price is nice.

We use CVF pulleys in most of our supercharger setups. Their pulleys come highly polished. We bright-dip anodize them for a carefree finish.

We use their pulleys for the 67 and up power steering and alternator brackets and the 11 bolt 4.5" water pumps with no problems in our supercharger systems.

Attached is a picture of their larger two groove crankshaft pulley that is bright-dip anodized.

We are a dealer for CVF and offer the bright-dip as an option. We can have them powder coated clear, grey or black also.

mostly use MARCH 13031 on most builds here,they look like they have same pulley for less, never purchased this brand but saw them,if get a chance to try one wouldnt hesitate to do so.

i am using one of their crank pulleys, very good quality item.

using the 4 pully system. with the A/C style larger pullies for better cooling.
Only issue i had was needing to shim the PS pully. after that they all lined
up perfect an look very good. High Quality product and everybit as good as
any other on the market for less Money.

Love my CVF pulleys ! Don't think I would buy any other aftermarket brand. Very high quality, look great and fit perfectly. Had a belt throwing problem with stock pulleys. Put on the CVF pulleys and problem is gone.
Plus the owner is great at customer service.

Thanks fellows. That's what I needed to here. Will be ordering this evening. Gonna go with the underdrive. Thinking about ordering the single groove pulleys and eliminating power steering. What do yall think on that?

73bird: congrats on the new 1/8 mile best. Shave a few more hundredths and you'd be very competitive in the 7.50 Index class [that is very popular around here].
I went to manual steering on the Catalina to eliminate the parasitic drag of the power steering pump. I had to change out the steering box to a manual unit and find a manual steering pittman arm. Certainly not a big deal to change out but that manual pittman arm can be hard to find. I know nothing about F-Birds so I don't know if you'd need to change your pittman arm/steering box out with a manual unit. Just wanted to give you a heads-up.

I know I'll have to change my steering box, hadn't thought about the pitman arm.
Thanks for the comments on my time. Only get to go a few times a year to test and tune, but have managed to better my time everytime so far. The car may be better than the driver LOL.
