Bad sway bar end link??

I have a Pontiac G6 and just got my car out of the repair shop in Florida after being hit in the drivers side and they had to replace the end link and now its making a knocking noise whenever the steering wheel is turned and I was wanting to know if this is a problem with some of the new parts or could it just need tightened. I am back in TN and need to take care of this and it probably will be easier to do it myself and not have my car tied up in the shop any longer.

The Clunking could be a number of things, from an easy improperly indexed outer tie rod clamp hitting on something, up to a damaged Rack from the accedent. It could also be Strut bushings, or CV joints. You cant really tell you what it for sure is unless you are actually with your car.
If it did not do it before the wreck, it is probably related to it.

I checked the torque and it was ok I then swapped it out with one I picked up at the auto parts and installed it and that took care of the problem. The other one had just been installed and started making noise after just 100 miles or so.
