Yes I'm not sure what the officers reasoning was, no word on how many rounds where fired or if the guy was under the influence of anything. But I agree, with the drugs coming in its not the same as I grew up with.

The mouth sounds more like the LEO was going for a kill shot - I would think a leg shot would have worked better but of course I wasn't there. I'm not judging or being critical in any way (at least I don't mean to be). It's not a job I would want, no matter what I got paid.
