I picked up a new Mooneyham Supercharger a couple weeks back. All I got was the blower, carbs, scoop, linkage, top and idler pulley. It came off a small block chebby motor. I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get the parts needed to put it on a Pontiac motor. I am trying to see what it will cost to do so or if I should just put it up for sale like my first plan. Thanks for all and any info!!

BDS (the first one) is more street-oriented and RBS probably a little more race-oriented. If you call RBS, you'll talk to JR--a super-nice guy and very helpful.

For several years I was offering competion supercharger drive parts for Pontiacs if you are a racer, I still have some parts still. In the future, will be offering them again by having more parts made.
soe of these custom parts for Pontiacs are-
Blower drive hubs
Cam driven fuel pump drives
idler brackets
intake mods- burst panels, port nozzles, etc.
magneto bases and components, off sets, etc.
Front covers

The crank hub is the most importiant part of the drive set up. Your crank hub/pulley length will determine your blower snout length and idler bracket.

If you look reeeeal close in this pic, you can see the spacer between my lower V belt pulley and the blower drive pulley. The stock V belt pulley bolts to the BDS crank hub then the 2" spacer gets your blower drive pulley out of the way. It works just fine, but it makes for a rather long blower snout.

A couple of years ago, I ditched the spacer and modified a single groove flat pulley on the crank hub and was able to shorten my blower drive by two inches. I also had to use a shorter 64-67 timing cover and water pump to get the water pump belt out fo the way of teh blower belt.

This pic doesn't show the new bottom pulley set up but you can see the drive is way shorter.

X2...if Steve doesn't have one available, I run one from Littlefield, but BDS offers one...both around $200. Shop around for the intake since the new ones from BDS are almost $600.

Thanks for all the info guys!! I'm just not sure I wana spend all the money to get this on my motor or just sell it off and keep with my first plan...turbo...what a tuffy.

I have a BDS drive hub and spacer if you go that route PM me - I'll make you a screaming deal... lol
