Does this car look a little soft in the rear? When I got car it had air shocks.Tom

It looks factory. I prefer a little forward rake.

Greg Reid 08-21-2012 08:32 PM

I like it like that.

tom s 08-21-2012 08:33 PM

I dont like the low ass look!Tom

Whats up with that hood crap?Seems like the foam in the RA pan is too thick.I remember my 69 GTO with the RA pans was the same way.Tom

indymanjoe 08-21-2012 09:07 PM

looks good to me as well.someone here posted "pontiacs had a higher front rake so it looked like it was accelerating even standing still" dont know if its true but i like the look..

marxjunk 08-21-2012 09:38 PM

all 60s Pontiacs are tail draggers.....when i was a kid, we got hijakers, now i like the tail draggin'

indymanjoe 08-21-2012 09:54 PM

see what happens when ya grow up LOL

keith k 08-21-2012 10:02 PM

Agree - current stance looks factory correct. The ride height measurements are in the service manual if you want to verify it.

I'd let about a half inch of air out of the front springs to level it (not raise the rear...), but that's just the way I happen to like them...

tom s 08-21-2012 10:11 PM

non adj shocks all the way around.Tom

Should just sell it and let next guy fix it up.

But yep, it looks just like a new 69 would have in that stance.

I likems a lil low, and even front to back.
No junk in trunk

Gator67 08-22-2012 12:13 AM

I too like a very slight rake, but it's beautiful as it sits now...

trishieldchief 08-22-2012 07:48 AM

Tom your car sits just fine!

1969GTO 08-22-2012 09:32 AM

front looks a little high to me

Greg Reid 08-22-2012 10:52 AM

Mine actually sits exactly like that Tom....except mine also sits a bit lower on the driver's side than the pass side.....That part, I DON'T like.
I wonder if it's because I ripped all the A/C stuff out?

Lloyd-TX 08-22-2012 11:28 AM

Looks dead-nuts on to me, Tom.

Beautiful Judge!

bruno17 08-22-2012 11:56 AM

Looks to me like its just right!

gtohurstjudge 08-22-2012 07:43 PM

To intelligently answer your question about if it looks right requires knowing
how much fuel was in the tank when the picture was taken. If the tank was empty it's sitting a little low in the back. If the tank was half full it looks
right. If the tank was completely full, it's sitting high in the back.

tom s 08-22-2012 07:54 PM

1/2 tank,as I said I dont like it and might raise it a bit.UNLESS someone just cant live without it and wants it more than me.Tom
