67 vent window weatherstripping
 

Hi there,
Can someone tell me does the weatherstripping at the bottom of the vent window sit on the top of the outer door skin or does it go down between the the glass & the outer skin.Hope this makes sense Ive described it as best I can.

It looks like it goes between the glass and skin on my car,nothing is on top of the painted part of the skin.
